Just rang up about a car they had for sale, he said they'd check if they still had it and would call me back...so he calls back and says its been sold and asked me how much I was looking to spend....I said no more than 4.5k & a mk5, pref ZS.

The he asks what colour I want...said blue or black...'do you mean the sporty blue, we've got one of them' I was like 'Its Imperial blue'

Then he says its got 80k on the clock, so I asked him how much it was and he comes out with £6000, I couldn't help but laughing and told him he must have been having a laugh. He says I'll be lucky to get a ZS for that money...so I told him most are between about 4k-5k at the mo.

He just came out with 'umm, oh, well you obviously know your stuff so umm, good luck looking for a car'

Back to square one then....

 

 

What a rip off. If you can find one at anothe ford dealership which is cheaper but too far away you can have it shiped to your local fords.

I sold mine in September for about 6K but it was low milliage, ex display and mint Condition also Red.

Have a look through the Auto Trader and E-Bay for one.

Don't you go one UKFN? They will know if there is any around. I will keep an ear out too for ya.

i sold my missus old zetec s in imperial blue with every option and 10K on the clock and was only a year old for 7K and that took ages to sell

Ford dealers can be twats at times. I've had them tell my missus that Ford never made ANY turbo charged Escorts And they also told me to do the diagnostics to find out why the ABS light was on my S" would cost me £400 with any repairs on top of this. Read the Haynes manual when I got home an sorted it myself within 30 mins and at a cost of fook all.
