im taking my car to Karl at the end of the month and ive noticed a boost drop inbetween peak and holding slowly get bigger lately

+ my actuator looks gayer than Boy George.

i run a jetted amal valve if that makes any difference

i want an actuator that can run 20 psi in this setup if needed and also 28 if needed

is this possible ?

ive got a dash 34 as its stonger for high boost aplications and reduces wastegate creep

think 20psi is a bit low for greys though, ive got a set of yellows ill swop with ya, ill do a straight swop no extra cash from ya as i class ya as a mate

ps -34 for a fun boost hit

yeah my cars holding 20psi atm and peaking at 25psi

another reason i want it setup

it used to peak at 28 and hold 25 and ive not played with anything

 

If Karls doin the work, ask Karl what he prefers you to use. This will save you grief in the long run.

 

craig ya got greys yes , ported head too yes , mine holding 26 and a halp psi ( dont tell stu he said turn its down, stu if ya reading im lying , honest !)

surely greys, ported head ya will want 30psi maybe even 32psi , whats the point in having greys otherwise


sell the greys and buy greens or run more boost , offer on yellows still stands btw

its got wide arch bodykit and those HID lights its an awesome car

but a bit slow on the motorway straights

Hi Craig,

I insist on the use of only Genuine Garret actuators as I find their operation superior to any of the alloy types.

I will discuss in detail with you what you actually want from the car when you arrive, but to make things more simple, for a car on greys and a T34 I use a -31 for up to a held 1.7 bar and a -34 for a held boost beyond 1.7 bar. I can supply either actuator if you don't wish to supply yourself, but please let me know in advance so I can check I have one or order one for you. Cheers!
