These are a good looking wheel .
Can i ask a dumb question tho ......
if i replace my 8" rims with 9" rims , where does the new wheel sit , in the same place on the outer rim , the inner rim or does the extra inch get split by half an inch each side of the wheel ??
For instance , on my car at the back ive an et 28 8x 17" , ive several inches of extra clearnace on the Outer side (not much on the inner )so i can use a 9x17 with the same tyres ( thats the wheel size they come off normally before you ask ) , to take up as much outer room as possible should i change the offset by an inch or is this not neccessary ?? Trial and error on this is not an option due to the cost of the wheels , i really want to get it right first time , heres a pic to show what i mean .
Thanks

tony if you specify an et 28 , you will still have the same inner clearance on all rim sizes iirc ,
as thats the size from the hub centre line to the back of the rim , im sure martin will correct me if im wrong !!
so in answer to your Q, the extra inch will be on the outside , i run ET 0's on the back of mine for tarmac, but only on 15's, but am lookin for some 17's in the same offset !!! 8 x 17 ET 0 's - sorry martin cant afford new
i will say these new rims are the best compomotive have done for a long while
but alas , everyone will have them before long and ruin the individual look
they do look very 'speedline corse' very
