Smile Which turbos for 450/500 bhp ?

Hi , don't post much - been dormant for a few years ( just like my car sat in the garage )
- and I have finally got the urge to finish off my 4x4 twin turbo . Question is , which turbo's ?
Looking for 450-500 brake , and very importantly , response at the lowest rpm possible .
Torque curve and drivability paramount.
Engine will be built to survive this !
Rev limit 6200
cam standard

Choices are :
VNT t28 of which I have very little knowledge other than they are used by Geoff
Kershaw on his race car to good effect ;

Garrett GT....r family because my mechanic involved with top performing rally cars thinks they spool so well.

Cost comparison not particularly relevant .

Please discuss all who feel sufficiently knowledgeable .

Thanks

Matt

You could maybe look at the twin turbo arrangement on a modern sports car and emulate that? Like the RX7 twin turbo or similar.

Yes it is.
I have spoken to turbotechnics today and the vnt's do sound ridiculously good .
Essentially the same compressor map as gt28r with spool up from idle speeds . Expensive enough to buy but that's okay . I'm more worried about the mapping costs as I would Imagine there is little to no experience with these . However I can only see the roller bearing turbos on gt25r or larger and I'm worried about losing low end boost . There is a guy on fordpower called Gengis who's achieved good things but i think perhaps the turbos are too large .
