Coolant spray in exhaust manifold/downpipe
Right, I want to build a system with wich I can spray coolant in the exhaustmanifold or downpipe of a car.
It has to be switchable i.e. arm/disarm and be operated via a pushbutton.
I know I'll need a tank to hold the coolant (preferably in the boot), a pump with enough flow to pump enough coolant and associated lines/connectors, as well as one of multiple nozzles wich I can fit inside the manifold or downpipe.
I am thinking that maybe a waterinjection system would be good enough, can anybody advise me on good systems?

You want lots of steam? Fair enough, whatever floats your boat lol
I would have thought you'd want a lambda bung, then make a plug with a tiny hole for the injector, and run as much of the supply line as pos in metal to avoid melting a rubber pipe.
Then a simple pump on a switch. An aquamist might do the job.

The smokescreen in the vid is nowhere near as good as the one I've seen with coolant injected in the hot part of the exhaust!
For the people that wonder 'why?':
it has nothing to do with showboating, it was a security option on a car I have here, but wasn't fitted and you can't get it retro-fitted.
Therefor I'll make up my own system as it has been proven to be very effective in the past.
