Fed up with it!!!!!!
Set up an account about 3 years ago to sell some bits and pieces, then stopped using it for about 6 months....started using it again to buy bits and pieces when I was building my 16v Nova then stopped.
November last year I had my house raided and was arrested on suspicion of theft and handling stolen goods, basically my account was hacked and used to sell stolen stuff. I was bailed numerous times while it was investigated, they eventually found out who it was after my PayPal address and postage address was changed.
Anyway I set up a new account, linked it to my PayPal and used it for a few weeks before it got suspended again for being linked back to my old account, eBay wont tell me why or how it was linked but all I can think of is that its due to PayPal being linked to both accounts at some point.
I've emailed eBay regarding reinstating both accounts, and all they seem to do is baffle me with emails that just spin me around in circles!!!
If I set up a new account I can use a new email address, I can verify it no problems. But if I link the new account to my PayPal its likely to be suspended again. I can set up a new PayPal account but i'll have to use the same bank accounts as my old PP account which they can link back to again so i'm back to square one!!
Anyone experienced similar and resolved it all??
Cheers
Paul.

mate they dont want your business.
ebay are cunts.
remember that ebay and paypal are the same company so as soon as you link your new ebay to paypal they will work it out.
you will also find your address is blacklisted, and even if you register under different names etc you will still get banned. My house was blacklisted when i moved in and as a result a week after i changed my address i was banned too
they dont want to know and wouldnt even accept documents from the estate agent showing when i moved in.
Nothing you can do.

It winds me up, I have heaps of stuff sat here to sell with no idea of its value that I want shot of and yet I cant get on there to get shot of it!!!!
As above m8 they are cunts!! They ended all my listings due to apparent shill bidding (obviously there was cos i list items at the price i want for them). They then limited my account. I sent them numerous emails only to receive the same response each time telling me what shill bidding was, which wasnt wot my question was!!!It went on for a while, but finally managed to get some sense out of them. They then lifted the restrictions but refused to refund me my fees. One day later then restricted it again, this then went on to happen four time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I then used the instant messenger option and this was alot betta as ur speakin to some instantly and i got it sorted so mite be worth givin that a try to try and sort it!But as said they dont really give a shit, iv bin mess about by non payers etc and nothin ever happens to themMatt

In fee's it cost me in region of 22-25% of the total value the last time I sold some lights. Might be cheaper for someone in the UK but not for a foreign goon like me who ontop of the eBay fee's have to deal with the laughable exchange rate that PayPal offer when you transfer the money to your own account. Simply not worth it.

tell me about it!! iv bin sellin a few bits recently and had wasters bidding and then not payin. Think im gona ban people with no feedback from bidding. Someone bid £156 for sum brakes i was sellin and outbid someone who had already bid then didnt even have decency to email say he didnt want them!! Luckily you can get ur fees bak. Iv started now bin one of the people who charges low start price and put bit extra on postage. That way i pay less fees but still sell for the same price. I thought why not, everyone else does it. Only prob is the wankers who then complain uv over charged them. They know the price they payin wen they bid i and when i buy things i dont complain if iv paid excessive p&p!!!!
