Hello Peeps,

I need some help if anyone knows i am currently building a full zetec 2.1 turbo engine in my s2 rs turbo escort however at the moment it is running MFI wiring but the engine is going to be powered by OMEX.

I am intrested in knowing how you are meant to wire the interior loom so all the lights/electric windows/central locking is still able to be used while running the OMEX in the engine bay.

Do you have to change the MFI loom to EFI loom or cut one of them up or rewire everything from scratch.

Please if someone can help me i would be much appriceated.

 

the omex loom is a stand alone loom. all you need to connect is a permenant live and earth, ignition feed and the fuel pump wire.

The mfi stuff can be cut out or hidden away at your own discretion.

 

Yeah as Dazc said dont touch your lighting, windows, central locking, part of the loom at all mate.
