CO Trim is high - will globally richen the fuelling throughout the rev range. I'm not sure what your fuelling values are under load but if it can be turned down to nearer 0 with a +/-10 tolerance thats the 'correct' place for it for mapping etc.

Also, the ignition advance seems quite high for idle, is the engine low compression?

Being slightly picky - I used to set the TPS to -0.30 on IAW and idle speed to between 900-950rpm.

Obviously every car is slightly different and you need to use what is correct for your application, but the info mentioned above was just what I used as a rule of thumb!

Yes. Anything 80+ on IAW is significant of Wide Open Throttle conditions being seen by the ECU!

I'd expect the ignition advance at tickover to be quite a bit lower though. Might be worth sticking a timing light on and checking the actual advance against the timing marks in relation to the IAW monitor. It might be that you've got an 'offset' figure between what you're actually running and what the IAW thinks you're running.

i made a mistake yesterday when i said the Co trim was 34.77 it was actually -34.77 so we adjusted the trim to 0.00 will this be better and we put the afr guage on and it was reading around 11.9 - 12.0 on tick over with the car at normal temp 96
is there any changes anyone would make to this?

Normally you can run around 14.5:1 AFR at idle and still keep it strong and smooth, if it's still a CVH head, you might even get away with leaner.

11.9-12.0:1 AFR is heading towards full throttle fuelling!

Thanks so do you think we should adjust the Co again to lean it towards the 14.5 then check what the afr is when cruising.
The car will be insured tomorrow so we can take it for a drive cant wait.

Personally yeah, i'd try leaning it off a little. Just make sure that you're in a position to monitor the fuelling accurately and listen for detonation if you stretch its legs!

I mean use a wideband fuel monitor to check the AFRs - wasn't sure if you had an in car one or just using a CO machine to check the fuelling with the vehicle stationary.

You should be ok, i've got an LM2 myself just for quickly checking things.

Just don't try leaning the mixtures off to the limit without lab grade monitors and make sure you're listening for det before doing full throttle in high gears!
