Folks,

Info needed, will a pectel monitor work on my pectel t6 2000? I think there are two types of monitors, the one im after has the knob with i think 8 diff positions and not the buttons?

No it wont work you will need to get it converted and it aint cheap

 

How much aint cheap??

 

The monitor will cost around Ł550 - Ł600 if you can find one like mine !
and gary would charge 100 to convert the one with the right chip in it to do this as there are 3 types pro 3 knobs the one 8 posiotion you want that i have and one were the firmware cant be updated !

 

Its the 8 position knob type matey, Gary? so it will work.

hi Joe , i dont really , i had 2 configured by Pectel for T6 at a cost of Ł450 each,1 i keep as a spare and wont sell unless its a Lottery figure ! I assume matey is talking about Gary Barker who works there and does some "Homers" but is notoriously difficult to get hold off !

 

Thats the Gary and no cant get hold of him if i cant i get a ring back !
i know what you mean about selling this i have had two never at the same time and tempted to sell mine as i want to do the new ecu route

 

...if a collins pro moniter works on a T6 get one of them instead, bang up to date and better imo.

I never heard of a Collins monitor doing t6
the main reason for me not selling this is because i wanted to sell the P8 8Injector ECU Loom and pectal monitor together

 

you can buy t6 monitors mate, just gotta know whos got em .. lol

I recently sold mine that was T6 compatible apprently well had the T6 plug on it lol

No, as t2 dosnt have data streaming like t6 which enables it to talk with a pectel monitor

 

So can the Collins monitor work on a l6 with msd chip ?

 

You will have to check with MSD if your chip is compatible with the monitor. Mine wasnt, so had to get a new chip...
