im in the prosses of starting a escort cab project and would like the frst engine fitted in which i know somebody who did my last engine conversion in my fiesta who is prepered to do it for me but we require some info etc , what exhaust is used for this sort of conversion ? woudl the original loom be ok for the engine ?

also any other help or info about the conversion would be great

in gudie section on ft.com it shows u how to change the loom from 2i to rs, imagane its the same process

Ive done mine, but ive got a mk5 cabbie with the ERST.

use a s2 exhaust, manifold and down pipe.

and get your hands on a ofab fez turbo ecu and on the ecu connector :

1) At the ECU, pin no. 27 (marked on the multiplug, brown wire) needs moving to pin 8, which is empty (this is the CO adjuster signal wire).
2) Pin no. 45 (brown/yellow) needs moving to pin 27 - this is for the MAP sensor.
3) EDIS Module pin 2 (blue/yellow) may now be disregarded as it is not used by the 0FAC ECU (pin 28 on ECU).


did this conversion last week end. still got to get an ecu tho so its not all wired up.
you can use an ofac ecu aswell but the ofab is easier. but can only use a 2 bar map sensor.
