Go to browser offline and then flick back through your pages... you MAY be lucky.

And then in the future remember to always do tech essays in word or at least highlight and copy before submitting

Most forums automatically log you out after an hour or so.. hence the invlid session. It wasnt a bug.

I have had the invalid session after 5 minutes but scroll back. I then copy the text and open a new browser. If I am lucky it pastes and posts if not it just pastes and gets an invalid session again. If thats the case I leave it 15mins or so with the browser still there so I can cut the text and try again.

Definately not just an extended time thing.

In that case its a cache issue on your PC.
Invalid session error means your session has either timed out or been restarted elsewhere and can only to my knowledge be because youve either:

A) Been online longer than allowed with no activity
OR
B) You pc has told the server the above incorrectly.
OR
C) Your username is logged in elsewhere.

The second option is usually caused by slightly corrupt cookies and clearing the PF cookie will fix the problem.

Petrucci may of course tell you im talking bollox
