Default it will not idle under 1500 revs plus when up 2 temp starts pulsesating

as above, right when i start it up from cold it will not idle under 1100 revs but will tick over fine on that rev

as its getting up to temp it starts to doing its own thing, the revs will start climbing so i have to turn them down abit, a few seconds or minutes later it will start dropping again so im alway adjusting the revs.

right then, it moves on to another stage then where it will go up to 2000rmp hold for a few seconds then the revs drop till it cuts out.

if i turn the ruvs up to just over 2000rpm it will just catch it before it cuts out, and its pulsesating between 1000 to 2000rpm in perfect timing say every second up down up down up down etc

this problem is cooking my head could it be the dizzy or sensors maybe?

if i start it again tommorow it will do the same all over again

any sugesstions will help alot

thanks diesel

Idle mixture is wrong, adjust it 1/4 of a turn at a time until you get a nice steady idle, try in both directions (lean/rich) you'll soon know what it wants
If that doesnt work then could be the metering unit itslef, or a number of other things

iv tryed the idle screw and theres no luck with that, it will run smooth but wont go under 1100 the hynes manual says it,s 920 to 960rpm but it will only run on 1100 for a few minuites then it goes nuts

i will change the meter unit and see how that goes

Just bear in mind when you do it will need setting up on a RR before you boost at all, as the fuelling could be anywhere!!

Air leak mate, pretty sure thats what your problem is, check ALL vacuum hoses especially round the back of the manifold.
