Default The Worst Courier Companies?

What are the worst courier companies

For me Parcel Force and Business Post are the pits.

Been waiting for some bits, which should have been here on Monday by Business Post, which maybe not be here until the end of the week now. The pickup guy took all his parcels home so he didn’t have to go back to work at the end of the day (they told me he is getting the sack for it). Their tracking system has all the wrong information, just a really poor service. How can they run a company like this!!

A wasted day at home, rant over!!!!

What experiences have others had?

always top notch service with parcel force, delivered on time, everytime, sometime next day even though i only pay for 48 delivery.

Alot of the courier companies are shit, coz they wont take heavy items, pisses me right off.

Well I used to work in the office at DHL, and all I can say is don't ever send anything fragile with them.

Owner drivers earn pretty well as far as I could tell, but it can be long hours with some of the companies. Others you'll work a morning or aft and have the rest off. The pay in the office was crap tho. No better than anywhere else.

the past 5 years i've earnt between Ł24k and Ł28k pa at UPS. Hard work but a very good bonus scheme makes it worthwhile.

UPS.... the Undelivered Parcel Service.....

My other half worked for DHL in the run up to Christmas doing nights on the jewellery runs... he worked out of Morley... that was quite good money, but on days doing normal parcels its absolute pants!

You know, id quite like to be a delivery driver again. If there is some recruitment thing let me know, they got employment bits on their websites?

It suits me, i never find driving jobs to even feel like im working, even when the hours are long, and i have a bizzare ability (well compared to most daft cunts ) to find my way anywhere with ease.
Done driving jobs before, but not for a few years, but was in cetral brum most days, mid/north wales the rest, so used to complicated or totally middle of nowhere type stuff (dead hard compared to the piss easy usual stuff).

And most of all... MY OFFICE JOBS BORE THE FOOK OUT OF ME

Regarding the point of the post, i almost always use Royal Mail and Parcelforce and they been good so far, tho never got stuff delivered further than Belfast and Aberdeen

Always after drivers, not may new starters last the induction period due to the hard work involved.

No sat nav, dont need it, your map is in your head after a while on your route.

I'm doing 100-110 drops a day at the mo.

Thats sounds like a lot of drops mate.

Thing is hard work dosn't scare me and for a potential salary of 10k+ ontop of what i get where i am now i'd be doing somersaults!

Do UPS have an employment website i can take a look at?

No employment website as such, do a search on Yell for your nearest depot and pop in for an application form. Failing that drop me a PM with ya address and i'll send you one.

Basic is Ł18k plus bonus after 1 month
