Does anyone know the thread size and pitch of the front brake hoses on the focus brembos, Where the hose joins to the brake pipe on the car body (Not the caliper) ?

Why would it be any different from the normal M10x1 used on the Focus?

Thanks for the reply, Even if where was a different size from the normal Focus, I still didnt know the size lol.

Im wanting to use the Brembos with Astra VXR 321mmx28mm discs
on my 3.2l V6 Astra Mk4 van and the focus hose unions are the same size as the astra so i can use the focus hoses, And ive just found out that the same goes of the banjo's if i want to use the astra hoses on the brembo calipers.

Ive never had much/if anything to do with fords as i was bought up with vauxhalls, But im willing to learn as i like them equaly as much, I was once going to buy a S1 RS Turbo Escort as i think they are one of the nicer cars ford made.

Sorreeeee. Not here much myself actually, so forgot my manners.

Some imported 3rd party equipment (Willwood) will use American threads. Difficulties generally come with anti-confusion design. On non-ABS systems Ford fit a Pressure Control/limit Valve in rear brake lines or directly into the master cylinders (some early ABS systems had them externally). One end is usually M12x1. Makes sure they are the right way around, but a pain if you want to eliminate them.

See the KA thread in this section.
