SilkQuit is the answer!!
Cant remember who posted the link to the SilkQuit program, but whoever it was, i owe you a big thank you!! I cant believe it, its the only thing thats ever caused me to stop smoking for more than a day!! In fact i began giving up on Friday and have not smoked since!! Unfortunately i lapsed twice at the weekend but i was heavily pished and was basically teased into it by friends. However its been a good 3 days now and i feel so much better. I would advise anyone trying to quit to use download that program. Its only a little thing but its done the job for me.

although i've quit now for 6 days
congrats to all concerned
well done to all. i quit on 7th April last year and feel so much better for it. plenty of people had bets saying i wouldnt last a day let alone a week!!!! and i really would not go back to it, i did use the old patches for a couple of weeks, then went on holiday and didnt want to be walking around with a patch on my arm, so stopped using them and used the old will power!
Woh, well done Stu !!
Neil - you got teased into it by friends?! I bet they smoke, funny thing about smokers is that they never want other smokers to give up, cos it means they have to face up to it too and its not easy.
