hi i need to get the chrome surrounds off of the rear side windows on my 3 door sierra without damaging the chrome or the window, and i have no idea how the window comes out, anyone have piks or suggestions for getting it out?

as every window replacement bodger ive had in the past has damaged rubbers on my other cars and aint leting them touch this one

 

You have to ease them off with a flat head screwdriver, use a cloth under the screwdriver to protect the trim/glass. Go round one bit at a time and just be gentle, the trim is held in with lots of clips at roughly 1 1/2 inch intervals.
