People who know their VW's, in particular passats
Just wondered is there just one type of diesel in this shape

i think (not 100%) there 1.9 8v tdi engines, range from 90, 110, 130 and 150bhp, not sure if theres all that range in these, probablay just 110 up

You can get a 2.5 TDI too. And a 90, and 100ps 1.9 models. The facelifted ones had even more engine variants IIRC.

the 150 bhp one (sport model) has a 6 speed gearbox too. i got a 130bhp se... its chipped to 165bhp , goes well and regulary does 50mpg or 600 miles to a tank...

The 90 and 110's are the.....old type engine, the 130 and 150 will be PD wont it?
