Hate to say it but really dont like Hardy, just seems too cocky. I reckon he'll have a good go at GSP and cause damage but I think he'll get outclassed, some cheeky arsed submission will catch him out.

 

for me the ultimate fight would be brock v marious pudunauski

 

Pudzianowski has a fight coming up with ex UFC Heavyweight champ Tim Sylvia, i think that will let us see where he is at now as in his first fight he didn't look good enough to mix it with the UFC fighters.

I think he has a good fighting career ahead of him but its way too soon to put him in with Brock etc... but i'd love to see it one day!

 

Na not really intrested in the Mir fight, can see Mir winning pretty easily, even though I dont like him.

Yep totally agree, GSP(at full fitness) will walk over Hardy, i dont even know how Hardy has managed to get a shot, he aint been through any of the real contenders. I know Hardy has been drilling rubber guard so by the sounds of it he expects to be fighting of his back alot, makes no odds as theres now way GSP is going to get caught with anything.... i mean BJ's ground game is years ahead of Hardy's and he managed diddly squat against GSP.

Mir vs Carwin, well yeah Carwin is a natural beast but i'm hoping Mir has stayed dedicated(like he said he would) and comes out heavy with muscle again....puts on another dominant show and gets his head down training for Lesnar.

Rousimar Palhares fight i want to see this man has some sick leg locks and subbmissions.

 

Would be cool if Hardy won but i really dont see it,can't wait for the Mir and Carwin match though.

 

bj penn is not as big or strong as hardy though gsp mauled bj and hardys got heavy hands if gsp lets him use them lol
i agree though hes got nothing for him on the ground,i fear hardy could get proper smashed up if he dont knock him out because hes a tough guy with a good chin and i cant see gsp stopping him just rearranging his face lol

i think 1 or 2 of hardys fights have been a lucky win & gsp will outclass him big time, submission win by gsp

 

Would really love to see an upset but GSP is just too good. Cant believe we're on UFC111.....oh how time flys!

 

I wouldnt mind Hardy catching him and getting the KO, but you just know GSP is going to do take down after take down and wear him out. Cant see it lasting 5 Rounds!!

gsp will take hardy to school in all departments, hardy will not wether to strike or defend the take down, he'll be off balance all the time, i can't see anything other than gsp doing what he wants when he wants. but i said that about the first matt serra fight as well lol

GSP will get his chin tested at least once, but by all accounts yeah Hardy doesn't have a chance other than punchers luck, has a killer hook to be fair.

I'm pissed Alves vs. Fitch is called off, would of been a WAR that one...

 

Just finished watching it. Got to say GSP executed a master class, granted no blood was drawn but his ability to pick and chose what he does it outstanding, the way he would look at his corner, take instruction then do it was unreal. Treat hardy like a rag doll. Fair play on Hardy with the arm bar etc, jesus christ it looked painful. Frank Mir was a big suprise for me, thought he would have done better.

that was just nasty, guy was proper hurt after that. Saying that though, I see palhares's point of view, he waited for the ref to stop the fight but he should have known the tap was for real.

 

that man has some seriuos leg locks and is freakis strong for 185 he will go a long way in ufc.

shame he dident let it go earlyer but in a interview he has been told not to let go of subs till the reffere breaks the hold..

Pretty suprised with Carwin like, looking forward to him and Brock. Sure itll be mega hyped up soon. Anyway theres John Hathaway Vs Diego Sanchez at UFC 114 And Terry Etim Vs Rafael Dos Anjos on the UFC 112 main card next month, So some more Brits to cheer on.

yes fight night is on thursday morning (espn) and also TUF starts at the weekend on five usa.......and 112 is on 6pm sunday night............

about the hardy fight......people really aint giving hardy the credit he diserves,gsp normally systematicly distroys people.....he couldn't do "nowt" with dan hardy apart from take him to the floor,but then hardy nullified him on the ground......big big up to hardy and a pitty he didn't land a few on the chin

 

know what your saying pete, but hardy never looked threatening at all, I wouldnt say gsp did "nowt", he did what ever he pleased whenever he wanted, Hardy did defend well but isnt attack the best form of defence? which I didnt see any from Hardy in the full 25 minutes. Do agree though, credit where its due, he weathered one hell of a storm.

 

i agree with what you're saying he went the distance and withstood some painful looking submission attempts but at the end of the fight one of the judges scored it 50-43 which has got to be one of the most one sided title fights theres every been.
joe rogan probably got it right in commentry when he said that gsp could snap hardys arm and he wouldn't tap, gsp should have either choked him out or went for the stoppage using ground and pound with elbows but he seemed intent on a submission
