well i have wanted a mk2 2dr for ages and i have finally got her i am well made up to say the least but the misses is not amused just dont know what colour ,engine ,wheels to do ,do i drop it on the ground lotus steels or minilites revos ,or the dunlop rims engine do i go zetec ,xflow pinto,cosworth ,now what colour i have got some in mind they got to be old skool colours pref ford ones maybe white red ,a green le mans green .Neil

Looks nice car matey, always liked the mk 2 and 3, but not the mk1!!
I love the mk2 1600E in aubergine, had a aubergine corsair 2000E once nice cars.

i love mk2 cortinas 1 of my fav fords i built a 4dr 1600e about 4 years ago, its painted ford millenium yellow, and its on 13 inc minilites, lowered 2inc all round.
i really miss this car, i sold it to help fund a cosworth, what a mistake that was!!!

I like that what rims on her are they superlites 7x13 .

 

Nice place to start you got there

red with the gold flash aka lotus colours would look lovely stick a zetec in with the copy Bda rocker covers and that's you got some cheap modern power

looks great mate i would keep it old school pinto 45's and minilites put a cozzy mota in it and it will destroy all your fun keep it clean and simple for a good fun car

 

i would also get rid of the stearing box and all the wanky set up on the front and use capri bits to transform it to a nice stearable car. colour wise that is personal taste old english white looks good and gives it a nice sharp look

 

NO I'm defo thinking mundane mk1 cortina, like the mk2 styling a lot better.

I think i like to stick a pinto in her the colour is red this week lol but it could change .thanks for the ideas folks

 

the cos has given me a shed load of trouble! the cortina i could just get in and drive its the only car i have ever really missed after selling, i wish i had put the money ive spent on my cossie into the cortina it could have been a proper nice car

 

origonal red looks luvly,dunlop rims,nice all steel x/flow [i can sell you that ] rocket gearbox,nice GT interior, cash for gold investment.
