The mate of my partners son won a Subaru today at Santa Pod in a pedal car race. Don't really no much about it at the moment but i think the competion was in conjunction with Voltz drinks (whatever that is). Anyone know much/anything about the car?

Cheers for the link mate. Agree with what others have said about the stickers, removing them would be the first job i would do to it. What's the best way of removing them? Would it be a hair drier job to soften the adhesive on the vinyl and then just carefully peeling off?

Shame they ruined it with stickers and a paint job. Well done though to the lad.

P1 = cool car
That P1 = shame

 

At that power, I assume its running a TD05 20g, and with the P1 box and 2.5 engine it'll be severely rapido... I've driven the same combination a few years ago and remember thinking it was comically quick. However, use it properly and the gearbox will end up scrapped after a while, with a 6-speed conversion (and all the stick on gash shite taken off..) it would be an epic point to point car.

Love P1's, great cars imo.

But why on earth would someone spoil one by painting it a diff' colour and putting chavy stickers etc on?!?

Looks a good spec though, and I'm sure I wouldn't complain if I'd got it for nothing!

 

Not sure when it was re-wrapped from black to white, the white wrap is how it came from Max Power, so i presume the black Voltz wrap was just for promotional purposes whilst the competition was running.
It's not painted mate it's just a wrap and as the listing says you could remove the wrap and go back to the original blue.
