Hi guys, I am trying to get some new oil seals for my hot rod's gearbox, but I don't know the origin of the box, I have been told it's from a Sierra. No-one will supply me with the seals unless I quote the type! Maybe one of you clever guys could identify it for me from the numbers on it. They are as follows:
Large 'B' on side
83 ET7AO39 BA
71 WG-7006
83ET-7006 28+
G24525 LK82
Gearlever held in with 3 bolts
Hi, It is a 4 speed iron gearbox with an alloy tail extension. It has an RS2000 alloy bell housing fitted to it.( I know that much) Reverse is press down left and forward, thanks guys.
It sound slike a standard 4 speed Sierra box. I would be speaking to either Central Axle Services in Brum or Royce Power and Transmissions to get the best prices on the parts.
Went to central axle services, they told me it's a sierra 4 speed. They got the seals, and fitted them for me, collected it next morning. What a fantastic service, great price as well! will not hesitate to use them any time again in the future.
