Think it's whole arm and i very much doubt it will be as cheap as that from a dealer.

As above whole arm will be needed. If its of any use i've heard bas things about the German Sweedish and French ones on the 205 website... Apparently they don't last long.

Here mate - http://www.gsfcarparts.com/

I've heard that ball joints generally dont last long on Pugs anyway - especially if the car has been lowered - 10-20k miles tops!!!

Droplinks are VERY common indeed - bought my Pug306TD...lowered it - two weeks later it needed a droplink on the nearside - changed em both to be on safe side - Ł8+VAT ea - GSF!

On the front, between the suspension strut and the anti roll bar

Dont get the gsf ones, there shite

Get proper Pug ones, about 14quid each from Pug

Chances are its ONLY the drop links that need changing???

Whats the sypmtops of his problems???

Knocking noise from the front on bumps and steering???? Sounds like the cars about to fall apart and it drives 100% as normal???

If u grab the wheel and shake ot HARD are there any funny knocking noises????

I'd bet money on it just being the drop links, there 30quid for a pair from Pug and about a hours labour to fix.

If that dont solve it i'll eat my hat

I second that.....I'll eat mine too it that dont fix it!!!

I automatically assumed mine was bottom ball joint too - changed it & it made absolutely FECK all difference!!! Then I tightened every suspension bolt I could find, snapped a couple in the process Then my mechanic mate had a drive & listen & said straight away 'drop link bars have spat their dummy & are knocking like a twat' - so changed both the drop link bars in approx 1hr....completely different car to drive, no clunks & felt tighter (oooh matron!! )
