i have had it about 5 month, not much done so far,
focus and lx badge have been removed from boot, all the rear lights have had a fly-eyes kit fitted to make them abit darker,
front wind deflectors, l.e.d's fitted on the fog light covers, i have about 5 weeks and my miltek cat back exhuast can be fitted heres a few pics



i will do i list of parts i want, then you lot can tell me if im right or wrong,
or what do peple think of the l.e.d's

 

LED's look gash IMO, leave them to the twats in hats down mcdonalds car park! Rest looks like a good base for some subtle mods

change head lights to stock black one's
miltek cat back is going on soon
suspension about 35mm-40mm lower
some ford alloys painted panther black
not shure on this but cheqd flag going over rear door and rear quarter (white) yeah or gay
remap for what its worth on my littel 1.6
new air filter not cone just a replacment pannel
i would love some recaro seat's
some engine detaling
tint's or privacy shades

sounds good mate and that essex racing is about 5 mins away from me and can recommend them.

 

nice lookin car.would agree ditch the running lights.

not a big fan of essex racing myself having had several ballache issues with them over the years but each to there own.

the cheques over the back look ok but every ST focus for exmaple now has them and its getting a bit 'tiger stripe' for the naughties look about it,ie:everyone thinks its cool but it just looks a bit cheap and very common now.

milltek are sound,got one myself and they are a superb bit of kit.
personally wouldnt bother with any 'upgraded' panel filter.never seen anyone get any performance etc from one only benefit is its re usable to be fair.

 

looks nice mate, will be good once all your plans are finished.

If its anything like my plans they never get finished lol, I normally end up selling a car half way through lol.

RSPOOJ-i no what you mean about the cheq's im unshore about them as id only whant them in white and that's not the plan, because the engine detaling will be red+stainless parts and if i get some recaro's it will be the red ones, and i dont want the cheq's in red so it look's like im throwing that idea out the window, as for essex i have never used them mate i do like the spliters but if there a ballach to fit id rather just fit a st kit, my point with that is it's the same as the cheqd flag everones doing it id like to be a bit diffrent or try anyway. the pannel filter was mainly for the purpose of being reused save cash in the longrun,

so i have some things to think about

Lower it a bit, put the smoked lamps on, stick some wheels on it, remove the led's and maybe put an ST kit on it.

Focus's work very well with subtle mods, you dont really have to do much to them to make them looks really good, less is definately more!

yeah i no i need bigger pic's mate but i use image shack and im not shure how to do it, if you click on the picture it will come up larger pluse i need to sort the cmera out because usually when i take pic's they come out a bit blury,

i agree less is more i just want to make it look abit diffrent than anyone elses thats why i put the part's list on so i can see what pepole think, also making it look different without being chavey then i can tell by pepole's input which direction i need to be going in, i want to make it look nice so i could put it with a club stand and here pepole's coment's on how nice it look's

yeah im starting to lean that way, dont you think pepole will take the piss though and say why are you puting the st kit on when it's on a 1.6 that's my main worrie about doing it

 

If you put an st kit on it, then rag the bollocks off it round town all night then you are going to make a dick of yourself.

But put an st kit on it, drive properly and its a cool looking car. Doesn't matter whats under the bonnet!

 

OR NO i dont rag my car about, i mean the car cost me Ł5500 it may not be a lot to some pepole but to me it's a lot of cash i want it to look nice and be noticed not batter the shit out of it,

i think the st kit is the answer it's pritty simple to fit i have read a few how to's on how to fit it nice and simple

to go with my badge overlay's that have a black background and ford written in red,

also i was thinking of painting the gril gloss black, what do you think would be best to use is plastikote any good or shud i use plastic primer and some normal paint, does the ford badge on the front grill come off

I wouldn't do stripes personally, its all about the subtle mods!

But its your car, do what YOU want to do to it!

i know what your saying about subtlety it's the new badges i have put on with them being red and black i feel they need somthing like a red side stripe, because at the moment they look out of place,

i no, i will buy them and put them on, then get a pic to show you and you can tell me what you think after that, im just asking for opinion's because i dont want to make it look gash but i really do feel it needs a bit of red to make it look like it was suppost to be like that

Those stripes look awful IMO, but its your car, if you like it thats what matters

 

Not a fan of the stripes im afraid sorry. Just make it an st replica. Dont worry about doing so as every other new focus now looks like an st anyway since ford brought out the zetec s model which has a very similar kit, plus u can have that same kit as an option on titanium models now.

 

can anyone tell me if a 3dr st spoiler will fit my 5 door

im counting down the day's end of the month my miltek cat-back is going to be fitted by pumaspeed, cant wait
