Hi all ,

have bought a new lap top computer with wirless wixxardry inside ,

bought the little box for my main home pc and installed , after a bit of fookin around i managed to connect to the internet on my lap top via the main PC ( couldnt view the other comp tho but thats for another time )

anyway , now i have lost that connection and by foooooooook can i get it back .

have run the wizard loads of times , set the main pc to host ( or what ever u call it ) and the lap top to connect through the main PC , both have the same network key and work group name ,

stumped ??

any ideas

 

Have you switched the laptop wireless on!!!!????

 

well it was workin so i presume its on ,

havin said that , how do u turn it on so i can see and make sure???

Just keep gettin pop up boxes that "wireless connection is not connected" !!

 

I have to switch mine on everytime, and it's the 'Fn' button, then F1. it's got a little mobile phone signal sign on it. Once it's on there is a little computer on the bottom taskbar with 3 little ))) next to it!!

mine was a bit of a pain to set up, but been fine since.

 

those dont work mate , i presume it is on as i have seen that it's configured to connect automticly when in range ,

itll be something realy simple , but i just dont know hat it is

 

fooooooook me , dont ask me what ive done but its now connected ,


i hate computers , ill try not to disturb anything now
