Can anyone help me! ive recently bought an rst with a blown engine. ive rebuilt it and had a chip and stage 2 hybrid with all the usual samco,s and bits fitted! But the prob i have now is that it cranks for about 10 secs before starting when its hot and even from cold when it comes up on boost it holds back and wont rev!anyone got any ideas im at my witts end with this thing now!

 

there are litterally a 100 things it can be! Are you sure there are no boost leaks and that your knock sensor is conected (if you have one!)

 

sounds like it needs to be set-up properly..even more so if its been recently rebuilt

 

funny u should say that about the knock sensor it has got the plug for one but there isnt one fitted?? its in a mk2 fiesta xr2 and i bought it without the wiring done and the engine in! i think its a s1 engine but an s2 loom and ecu but i dont think it makes any difference?
