Is the plug to top up the gearbox oil the one just above the reverse light switch, if so its a torx bolt but i can't get a torx socket on it as theirs not enough room as its too close to the gearbox tunnel, is their a special tool required or something ? Cant get the drain bung undone either at the mo

Use a 1/2" rachet but without any socket on it

It is just a square hole if that makes sense

 

Yes but that is just for the drain bung only isn't it, 1/4 inch square drive.

What about the bolt u remove to actually refill the oil, isn't it a torx one or am i looking at the wrong bolt just above the reverse light switch.

Checked on the GGR site & it said box holds 2.55 L of atf, i thought the box was low on oil, only 1.2L came out, managed to get 2L of new oil in before it started to overflow out of the filler bung, where's the other 1/2 litre ?
