Default Insurance Advice Required-People with 2 cars on one policy

Need advice guys.

I currently have 2 policies on the go
1. For the family car for myself and the wife-with admiral-nissan qashqai
2. For the cossie-adrian flux

I've just purchased another run around for going to shows, track days etc. Adrian flux suggest i set up a separate policy for this car.. There reason is if there is a claim on either car i will have to cancel the policy on the other car. The only problem with this is it means another large premium. What do you suggest

I would not like to go down trader policy route as i'm not a trader and believe the level of cover is not very high in benefits

ADVICE AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WOULD HELP TO RESOLVE
THANKS TONY

If you are looking for longer term cover (30 days or more) then I'd start a new policy with a mirrored bonus. Try an insurance company with a pro rata cancellation, just incase you do not need 12 months cover. Feel free to call me in the office.
