All parts are cut from bits of the forth bridge, then welded to anvils.
Futile attempts to jack the car up will only result in burying the jack.
Show any piece of metal on it to either oxygen or h2o and it reverts to it's former life as a cadburys flake.
Rubber was invented.. after my car.
Climb into your tumble dryer then roll down a hill in it on a skateboard, you will be more cofortable than I am when driving! And yes we will both be pushing them back up the hill.
Mine was the prototype for all wheel steer, but ford engineers don't like to take credit for inventions they didnt intend!
It was designed using quantum mechanics, meaning that theft will ensure you never see it, but broken parts and leaking oil means you will always know where it's been.
The original ford DFA button still works.
All threaded bolts are sublimiarly connected, tightening one will losen several unrelated ones on the other end of the car.
The only thing that travels faster than the water leaking in the roof, is the water leaking out of the floor.
I actually envy cosworth road car drivers their reliability
But no, I wouldn't swap for anything else

old stuff all the way for me fck new stuff its all too borin you see scoobys,evo's,golf turbos every day-my opinion only but id rather drive summat not so common and not see the same car as mine every time im out in it
Evo's do not drive themselves, nor do they do everything for you. Remove the standard diff from the evo and replace with an rs version. You are left with the same setup as an escos. 4 wheel drive and a rear diff with no ayc. The chassis as standard is better on the evo. To get an escos round the track with an evo equal to its setup and power, will require more driver participation, bigger balls and possibly more driver talent.

A scooby's not a car, it's a playstation with wheels pmsl

loved reading your reply! Lol
i dont own one of these really worth it classic cars, but to me an old classic that you dont see very often on the road is definately worth it!! At least you feel like your actually "driving" it, compared to all these new cars where it seems everything is done for you, like all the luxuries of city power steering and cruise control...yeah dont get me wrong they are great, but your not having to "drive" the car its doing all the hard work for you...and that hard work is so worth it when ya driving a "real" car!!

personally.
i think old cars are nice, if you get a minter for example a lovly rs500 etc etc.
only trouble is you cant use them every day, well you cna but they get rusty, not as reliable, nt as safe etc.
so if your using it every day and want something powerful i think a evo etc is the best bet if you want it to be safe relible etc.
dont get me wrong i love old rs's and the new ones, but personally i think there to old to be sued every day in the rain etc etc
Too many posts.. I need a life!!

every time i have a prob with my saf i think fuck it i just want something i can get in and drive, but when the safs working right i remember just why i put up with all the promblems, it puts a large smile on my face and i love the comments/looks i get when i use it.
my daily drives a st escos , my weekend toys are a e type and a escort mk 1 turbo, im a proper petrol head and love a good evo or scooby but for me its the devalue new cars suffer from , we bought a voyager for 26 grand four years a go its probably worth 8 now ,so for me old cars are my future, god do i love tax excemption and 75 pound classic insurance
As for which is more nickable I guess it depends on the thieving scum bag but if you put a Cossie & an Evo side by side in a NCP I'd put money on the Evo not being there the next day.

not many on the road these days

New cars don't do it for me. My company car is an Abarth 500 Essesse which is a nice tidy car, its quick, got leather and aircon, still turns heads, but would I sell my MK4 ERST and MK3 XR3 to buy one? No I wouldn't. Would I sell them for another new car? No I wouldn't. Would I sell them for a 3 Door or MK1/2 Escort? Yes I would! Maybe I'll grow up one day and want something newer, but I love pulling into a petrol station etc in a 28/22 year old car and people coming over to me saying wow that car looks good for it's age. Don't see many of those about these days.
i prefer old cars, it's better to be different from the masses, having older cars can be frustrating but when they're working the enjoyment is greater than from newer cars, i would love a new focus rs, but couldn't justify the depreciation that all new cars suffer,
steve 4i -so of us young guns do know a good car when we see them, im 16 and wave at most old fords i see and the odd other car too and to see the owner waving back is awsome and i always take a pic when i see one parked up in a petrol station. (or are they broke down?
)
i think working on them is part of the fun of owning them because you know for the 2 months it works its amazing and you get looks modern car owners can only dream of.
does anyone think evos/scoob/skylines will become proper cared for classics and really rare?
i dont think theyll ever be like the cars of the 80's

EVO = 4wd = tractor, same as 4wd cossie, 2wd rule!!
I don't know why people insist on having breakdowns, my sapph has 180,000+ on the bottom end, doesn't miss a beat, good mpg, ace emissions 0.97 % CO on mot, no adjustement for mot this is normal running.

I get what your saying as i have a escos and an st-2, the st is great but it's not an escos. Im carefull where i park though as i dont like dents in either of my cars. The escos turns more heads and i get lots of comments too, mostly good.
