I bought a lsd gear box with quaife diff for a mate from matthew m, when he got it was a std box and it is batted have you bought from him.

 

im sure one post about him is good enough. like i said in your other post hope you got in touch with him first.

 

Slag me off all u want want I told u blatently that I didn't know what the box was but was told when I bought the car it had a quaife diff I told u this all along hence selling the box for standard rst box money if I had paperwork to back it up I wouldn't have sold it to you so cheep I even said when it was on eBay that I couldn't verify what it was but when I bought the car it was listed in the spec, it's not as if I dint tell you this all along the box is working order and worked lovely in my s2, you've paid standard rst box money and have got a working box I don't know what you expect me to do because as far as I can see I've been honest all the way

 

You should be refunding the money consdiering your advert clearly stated quaife diff and it doesn't have one!
WORKING ORDER? THE HOUSING HAS HOLES, THE GEAR TEETH ARE WORN, 5 GEAR HAS PLAY AND THE DIFF IS A STANDARD 6 BOLT, DIDN'T REMEMBER YOU MENTION THAT ALSO THE FINAL DIRVE WAS 4.2 S1 EITHER DID YOU? CLEARLY YOU WOULD OF KNOWN THAT AS THE RATIOS WOULD HAVE BEEN SHORT AND TOPPED OUT AROUND 135MPH, PLUS THE FRONT MOUNT LOCATION IS BROKEN.
THEN YOU STATE THAT 300 QUID IS A STANDARD GOOD BOX MONEY? YOURS IS COMPLETY FUCKED SO COUNT THAT AS 50 QUID TO SAVE FACE!

I told him several times on the phone and in the original for sale add on eBay I said I couldn't confirm but was told and sold it to him for standard box money it's not as if I lied as I was completly honest all along that I was only going off wt I had been told and that it was not 100% as I had no paperwork to prove

 

look at this and please show me where you clearly verified that? the question clearly shows what you said and didn't say!

The way i see it you have a choice, you can either try and con people on here and ebay and then get barred or you can do the right thing and refund the amount!

looks like the evidence is there that states the box has a quaiffe diff as a mechanic told you when you had a rebuild.

 

Matthew M fucked me around over a clutch at Xmas, I held it for 3 weeks on his word that he definately wanted it, then low and behold the messages I sent him got ignored. Not even a 'sorry to mess you about but I don't want it anymore'.

I don't forget shit like that. I have a good trading record on here and will do my best to make life hard for anyone that doesn't do the right thing.

I can provide evidence of the box that he sent and how bad the condition is of it! The gearbox specialist said that my standard box is much better condition than this box!

 

Matthew you told me you had paper work then when i said i will have box and i paid for it you said you could not find it you can see on here you are full of shit.

 

Banged to rights, file a dispute with paypal you should get your money back one way or another!

Actually I was in bed, tbh I'll sort this out with d4 rst but the item was sold off eBay and that isn't the listing that it was sold off I spoke to him numerous times on the phone before he bought it,

my biggest problem was his manner of resolving threats straight away on pm the a public post? Hardly very bussiness like

Fuck me, i though about bidding on that (before common sense kicked in), your lucky i didn't mate. But D4 if you are going to spend that money on something unknown either go and have a good look at it, or get the seller to take some decent photos. We don't know what went on either so posting up loads of shit that damages someone's reputation isn't really on. Try and sort things privately first then ask for help when/if you get no where.

Ok as far as i can see this is between Matthew M and d4 rst to sort out.

morph - I think you need to back off and let them sort this out as you are just making matters worse.

I would also ask that other members keep there opinions to themselves for now and give these two a chance to sort things out.

Also... we cannot ban a member for a deal that was conducted on another site, ebay has there own protection policies so I suggest if the buyer is unhappy then to contact ebay and Paypal.

Anyway i am closing the thread as Matthew M has said he is going to sort it out so no further comment is required.
