can you still weigh a car in an get money for it?? I know i wouldnt get as much as say 18 months ago before the bottom of the market fell out, but physical scrap value has been rising slowly. Opinoins please.

 

You can still weigh them in yeah. average scrap price round are way is 75/80quid for a complete car. Scrapped a volvo 940 estate on the weekend and got 150quid for it as even gutted it came in at 1.2 ton!.

Most council offer a weigh bridge and disposal service if you carnt find a yard but the dont pay out so well
