Unhappy Spark problem need help!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all i have a rather big problem with trying to get my car to spark ....the other day my s2 rs turbo just died while waiting at the petrol station and wouldnt start again so i checked for a spark and there was nothing checked 2 see if there was power as coil and there is ...got aa out and they found that the plug on my dizzy has got 3 lives going to it He said it should have an earth,live and switch but mine has got 3 lives so ive not got a clue wot is causing this wondered if any 1 elts has ever come across this or if any 1 noes how i can sort it thanks danny

erm have ya checked the relays as one might of melted and turned all points into lives
sounds strange just a thought,

take the covers off them and check the soldering on the board
