Default Has anyone ever built a n/a zvh

Just wondering what kind of performance to expect from a n/a zvh, I have a mate looking to build one for the track

Probably, but there would be no point, just use a complete zetec engine. People initially made zvh's because both manifolds could be kept and supposedly the cvh head was more robust.

And tbh now that after market management is so cheap more and more people are building zetec turbos rather than zvh's.

Hope that helps, good to know there are some escorts in the caribbean probably haven't rusted to death like they have here.

I agree but it's purely for group classification purposes it's either zvh 1.9 cvh or 1.6 16v & we all kno the 16 zetec is utter rubbish only other option is the Puma 1.7. The competition in the group is the toyota 1.6 20v that's about 170bhp but they don't have torque that's were the zvh would come in handy

you could do a N/A zvh, just like the american tall blocks i na way, so more torque and overall power.
value for money is piss poor though, 2.0 zetec on bike carbs will piss 150bhp and that's a shite setup too.
but if you can't do that then zvh it up to keepo in the right class, could make decent power with the right setup and parts.
