s1 alternator brackets differant from a s2??

Default s1 alternator brackets differant from a s2??

are s1 brackets differant from a s2 bracket as im offshore at the moment but im sure the adjuster arm is atatched o the block on my s1 engine where as the s2 adjuster is atatched to the bracket, can somebody confirm please before i go buying the wrong one

I confirm. The mk4 bracket also makes the alternator sit lower than the mk3 mount.

totally different as i found out when building my zvh, the s1 alternator, adjuster bolts straight into the block and the mount is in 2 peices as i found to my dismay as there is no hole in the side of the zetec block sh had to get a mk4 one out of a scrappy
