Default Paranoia

Is it just me or does anyone else suffer from car paranoia ? used to be bad when I kept the S2 at my house before, now Ive bought a cossie and got really bad as it aint insured not that it will go very far with the bottom end in bits hasnt stopped someone from having a sniff around it twice and trying to break in once I think yesterday I brought the S2 back to mine as well so I have both here, I cant sleep at all or stop staring out the window

Cant block them in, comunual car park

Will take the steering wheel off the saff tomorrow
Its not is if I stay in a bad area at all either, both cars are cat1'd and I could nearly touch the escort from my front window, the saff is only about 15ft away.

Still very very nervous

I have had my stereo stuff stolen 3 times. One night they stole it out of both my cars at the same time and they are kept in the back garden. They stole everything, amps, subs etc, I had left the boot open on both though . Then the next day I got cctv and set it up pointing at both the cars. About a week later my girlfriend had gone out in the morn to walk the dog and came back in saying it felt like someone had been in her car, nothing had been stolen but a few things had been moved. So I rewound the cctv tape and at about 4:00am there is some guy that jumps over the gate, walks up to my car and checks all the doors etc and has a good look through the window of the car, then goes and checks my gfs care and she had left the boot open so he climbs in and starts having a good root around for about 10 mins then comes out with my old coat and a box full of junk that was in her boot with some old trainers of mine in Then he goes back over the gate but about 5 mins later comes back with my old trainers on and has another root around then goes off again.
I havent had anymore probs after that because I always double double check everythings locked now and if they had to smash a window the dog would go mad, if someone was out there though I don't know what would be best to do as u dont know what they are carrying knives, needles etc and car stereos can be replaced.

I used to get very paranoid driving the cossie, especially over here. Either expecting something to go wrong or someone to hit me. The thought of getting spares was the problem.

LMAO at him coming back wearing your old trainers! When I was living at my dad's the dog would go made all the time but when I was sound asleep and the fookers tried to take my Golf I never heard him...

I'd swap anything I own for catching them at it though.

I'm quite a paranoid person too, and I also dont live in a bad area but that doesnt stop me getting up and checkin every noise that doesnt seem right at night.

Unfortunately it is a result of the society in which we live today where instead of hoping things dont happen to our nice motors that we have worked hard for, we fully expect some thievin jealous little f**k head to come along and try and take what they havent earned .

I'd love to catch one at it one day

The question is what would you do if you caught them at it??

You can't touch them cause if you do, they sue you and you get done for protecting your own property....
