I was wondering what the differences between an RS 500 and a normal Cosworth??? ..........................

Apart from the names

 

quite a few matey!

different engine,turbo,intercooler,different anti roll bar,different inlet plenum has 8 injectors,coolant rad, stat,throttle body,front bumper,rear spoiler,has a lower rear spoiler,has two brackets welded on the rear beam(no use on a road car but had to be on there for homolgation(spelling) rules)and of course 500 made all on e plates i believe

plus the 500 decals on the boot lid

 

Stat was the same, arb was the same as the early 3 door had, ie the E14 type, the first 3 doors could be retro fitted at owners request free with a arb(front) with more castor, as was a bit twitchy std.
Also had the all important TICKFORD badges.
