engine lamp came on and her 'get up and go' 'got up and went'

Under the steering column behind a plastic trim mate. Just pull of the trim and you will see it.

I'd put money on it being an EGR valve issue. It's so common we keep them in stock on our vans!! Lol!

then it's just by your shin right shin

nice 1 cheers, dont think ill get my hands dirty unless they wanna pay me for it

i may take it down get a new un then clean the old 1 for ebay

im sure the plastic gears inside the egr valve nack up. You can get a kit from ford that has metal gears in to replace the plastic ones.

it might come up on the tester about watering in the fuel filter. Just ignore this error code cause its whats called as a ghost code. There is no sensor in the bottom of the fuel filter.

EGR valve is almost guaranteed to be at fault !

Fitted quite a few of them recently, also had loads with water in the fuel filter causing all sorts or running concerns, mainly a lack of power so wroth checking the filter just in case.

we had one that had a split diaphram in the fuel pump lifter or seomthing to that effect

would go into limp home mode when you floored it, but if you switched it on and off again it would clear the fault code
took MONTHS for that to get fixed
