Car price drops??
Im saving my hardest to fund a mk1 focus rs ( yes have finaly made a decision) if i carry on saving at the rate i am could pos afford to buy one in sept/oct time. What im asking is, if i waited a till next summer would there have been a significant price drop?
Never really had cars of high value really, so not sure on how deprecition value and all that works. Hope people can spread a bit of light cheers?

You'd be better off buying over the winter when cars are generally cheaper. People tend not to bother looking when the weather is crap, who wants to get soaking wet & cold looking at a car.
I'd say the Focus RS Mk1 could go either way price wise as more Mk2's are coming on to the second hand market so that could have a knock on affect to the MK1.
Its a tough call.

It is a tough one cause of the mk2 but generally cars are a little cheaper in the winter.
I personally think there wont be that much difference in price come the summer. Over the past few years they have kind of flattened off. OK so there are some real cheap ones with high mileage and concourse cond that are 14k plus but generally the average cond and mileage ones wont go up or down considerably by the summer.
