Coming home from work tonight down a road which has recently been reduced from 40 to 30 when I see a mobile speed camera on the other side of the road(the black on a tripod ones) as I pass it I see a speed camera van ( ones with "think"written on them) coming towards me doing at least 40 as I watched in the mirror the inevitable happened he got flashed!!!!!!! made my day it did.
can't imagine the ribbing he's going to get from his workmates!!!

My missus got flashed before xmas doing 34 in a 30 at 7am,deserted road. Then coming home from work she followed the same van doing 75 in a 70 and 60 in a 50!! Gonna install the camcorder in the car i think.

 

Copper near me hit an old boy on a crossing, killed him, they were speeding had no blue lights on and turned out that they were not on a call, got investigated but never heard the outcome

 

i got stopped for 'speeding' once... i was in a 60 limit... prob doing about 80... 2 cop cars went past the other way... thought nothing of it.. carried on.. about a min later there was one tearing up my arse! i slowed to a poultry 50 as he put his lights on and pulled me over... his first words to me were how fast were you going back there son... my reply not as quick as you obviously...
The thing that anoyed me was the fact that i had been doing 80.... ish and in the min it took him to turn round AND catch me up he hadnt put any lights on and must over been doing over a ton EASILY!

Id have always said the same about this but i know a guy who was in the police for quite a few years and then left.He was telling me about him getting caught a couple of times by a speed camera the same week and he got the points and fine.

 

A police bike crashed into the side of a car on the lanes by me. He tried prosecuting the car driver for driving without due care and attention etc. The chaps legal lot tore the police apart as the bike hit the car so hard it looked like a bannana and there was no way the damage was sustained at the 35-40mph the officer claimed he was doing.

One rule for them and another rule for the rest of them.
