and 1 inlet valve is bent, all 4 zorst valves are fukkered

in the middle of ordering the bits and it lists 2 cam belts for the 1.2 D7F engine

usually you can, they will just charge you a handling charge....

 

cool, well i ordered both and left some comments on the form too, see if they ring back...

cost i fukkin £171.20 in the end, not including the haines manual, and valve spring compressor, that was another £50

how much would it have cost to get done in a garage???

Just done the same job all 8 valves cam belt and gaskets new head bolts (these must be changed on these engines) £95

i/l valve £4.95 x 4 = £19.80

ex valve £7.50 x 4 = £30

head gasket set £25

head bolts £18.50

cam belt (wasnt sure so ordered both ) £12.50 and £8.50 = £21

cam belt tensioner (not sure if its tthe right one also ) £20

cam cover gasket £2.50

postage £7.95

and VAT

= £170 odd squids

oh, plus the £15 haynes manual

and the £35 valve spring compressor

and £8 worth of anti freeze

£230 all in

 

its all more than i paid!
