Weird, You did click on the 'clear history' bit as well as 'delete temporary files'?
Close internet explorer and re-open.

Or if you wana get techy then right click on the START menu, select EXPLORE. Windows Explorer will open in the Documents & Settings directory for the username you are logged on as e.g. Administrator. Select LOCAL SETTINGS folder. Then select HISTORY folder and delete everything in history folder. If you break your PC dont blame me!

she cant stop you no, but maybe your permissions are a bit restricted, go back into control panel and choose user accounts, check your an administrator and not a restricted user or something gay like that

Thats assuming you have XP or 2000

Have you tried doing this. If your a restricted user then you probably cant though.....

....right click on the START menu, select EXPLORE. Windows Explorer will open in the Documents & Settings directory for the username you are logged on as e.g. Administrator. Select LOCAL SETTINGS folder. Then select HISTORY folder and delete everything in history folder. If you break your PC dont blame me!

Download and run this....

http://cleanup.stevengould.org/

Great little program for deleting temp files, temporary Internet files, history etc. And no spyware. Does what it says on the tin
I install this on all my customer's PC's now and run it
One guy's machine was practically unusable, ran just this program, deleted over 90,000 files and recovered nearly 3Gb of wasted space

I don't usually download programs for this kind of thing but this one is worth having...
