Hi there got an S2 rs that I am using for track days but have inherited an annoying problem when I bought the car.

Basically the whole car judders when you try to reverse it like the clutch is slipping but only in reverse. The car drives perfectly fine in all forward gears. As far as I know it has a standard clutch fitted. Does this indicate the flywheel is damaged or is the clutch going?

 

could be somethin as simple as a gearbox mount m8

 

PLEASE make sure the gearbox is bolted to the engine!! i lost a block in my ka through the same! snapped a block

 

as above mate i bet your gearbox is hanging of the block, i had this on my series 2 was sorted in 10mins
