Default mk1 mexico cossy power

now if all goes to plan a mk1 mexico will be landing at my workshop very soon,
it needs fully restoring but we have what it takes to do the job reasonably well, including a complete 2wd cosworth donor.....i know that some folks will cringe at the idea of cossying an original mex but cant wait to sink my teeth into this one,,,pics will be posted as and when...watch this space

soe people like to do it that way, for serten reasons like its cheap to buy a complete 4x4 cossie then use a rotton escort! or just for budget or comfort ride!
which way you do it! it sill be cool mate

well i dont have any problems, if you build a total full mod escort to take the power of a yb cosworth my mk2 stands me over £25.000 and still not finish't and thats still a cheep build compare to other cars. if you buy a fully working 4x4 cosworth saff around £2500-£5500 then pick up a mk1-2 from £1000-£3000 body parts extra around £1000... you can build a saff body base, big arch 2wd or 4wd mk1-2 escort for £10.000 or less thats if you build it your self...
And i do know that people have built cossie mk1-2's for less they not the best but they have done it!
Its always best to ask the right people who know were get the cars or parts from...
