17" wheels will not help handling to be honest.

Best thing to do is make sure the stuff already on the car is in good condition then get it 4 wheel aligned to make sure everything is knob on. If you are still not happy with it then there are full adjustable suspension set ups availabe but they need setting up professionally other wise it won't handle well at all....

I have poly bushes in most places along with top adjustable konis backs are set full hard with the front set half way, also have a front strut brace, with this set up i get very little wheelspin on hard acceleration, goes round the bends nicely too, also changed to 45 profiles on RS 7 spokes as less sidewall to flex.

Mine is setup tale down. It handles very well in the bends, and grip in a corner is awesome, but it's not brilliant on acceleration - quite a lot of wheel spin. If i were to drag it, id just put some drag tyres on.

ive gone for

adjustable front TCA's - allows you to adjust camber/caster or something i think for the front wheels

Fully poly bushed front end

Strut brace

Koni adjustable dampeners with -45mm chassis dynamics springs

adjustable parrallel arms with ride and height adjustable coilovers on the back

adjustable tie bar

and MAYBE a s1 anti roll bar setup to depending on how well this all handles...

car is also on 17s

still awaiting delivery on rear suspension and running standard rear shocks and springs at the moment but the car does seem very tight around the bends...however the back end is a bit shakey LOL

Drjones,

All these parts are available direct from me, and yes, fairly easy to fit at home, no special skills or tools required. e-mail me for more details and prices.
