i already have it mate in my engine now as my bottom end is zetec . but i was told to put it in the sump . but just found out that you put them in tthe sump if its a dry sump or summat . so think i will jut put it strait in the block again .

it keeps shitting the bottom end mate . so it needs a crank regrind and the lot now and set of shells but other then that its a mint car with a tidy shell its had a fair bit of money spent on it i just want it a bit more reliable so opted for a full zetec turbo . just seen your project and ust want to no have you got yours up and running yet looking a good thing mate

your best off using a silver top zetec engine mate, with the black top you'l need to mod the mount, get a front mount alternator kit, mod the sump(as it get's in the way of fitting the starter motor, and fitting the o/s driveshaft.
alot easier using a silvertop

thanks mate . have you done the conversion as i have most of the things like a 1.8 sump and pick up pipe and i already have the brackets for the front mount alternator engine mount has been done and the cover for the hole in the block . and the car has been altered to efi for the fiesta turbo inlet manifold . and its got a big front mounted intercooler . its running on biege injectors and its got a motosports developments chip or some thing in the ecu which is ofab . is there out else that is needed apart from the pistons and con rods cheers dean
