Been 10 years since i left and me and a couple of mates were wondering if the Storthes Hall Mental hospital is still standing derelict?

We used to have a right laugh exploring that place, was like 28 days later.
All the underground service tunnels that linked the wings and the rows of padded cells about 4"x6".... was always getting chased out of the grounds by security.

Mira Hindley had a spell there back in the day ..

We took a load of freshers up there once then turned the torches off and legged it

Memories, things ya do when yer a kid.... anyway was just wondering if its still there or been flattened and is now halls.

The Student accomodation is next to the old Hospital.

Unfortunately the buildings have all been flattened now, as far as I know.

 

Thats it mate, i stayed there in my first year..... it's probably for the best they pulled it down as it was only matter of time before someone got hurt.

I rember going down one corridor on a second floor, opened a door and there was a 40 50 ft drop where half the building had been demolished

The kids ward was the spookiest.... loads of drawings still up on the walls and stuff, kiddy sized straight jackets lieing about

the site was fucking massive...

This was all buildings from what i remeber and all linked by tunnels







There must have been some really scary shit that went on here in the early 1900's
