Default Penalty points....

Good morning all..

Ive currently got 9 points on my licence, 1 x TS10 and 2 x SP30's...
My question is how long are they on my licence for? My TS10 is 3 years old on the 02/01/10 so i was wondering how long it is until im out of the danger totting up area!?

Thanks

depends on the offence,3 years or 4 or 11 for DD. some offences are also from date of conviction rather than date of offence. sp30's were always 3 years for totting up but 4 years for removal but i dont know if its changed recently.

The last year of "Must stay on licence" eg year 4, is only there for the courts use.
If you committed an offence at the end of year 3 and it doesn't get to court until year 4 they can see it needs to be totted up.

Does anyone have a link to wherever it says about the time limits? Got 3 bans on my licence from june 06, offences committee march 06, and I was under the impression I could have them removed from my licence in march, as that would be the 4yrs from date of offence.
