ive got a 03 plate focus

the only way me and a mate found was to feed the cable from the bay in to the passenger arch(between the splash cover and the arch) then throw a gromet in the pass footwell.

my mate done most of it as i had 3rd degree burs on my hands but thats what i remember him saying he did.

hope it helps

john

Very difficult to get wires from the engine bay into car the usual way. So the accepted way is to go over the fire wall on the passenger side, over the bonnet hinge, tuck the wire under the top of the wing and take it through the blank grommet in the passenger side door shut. You wont notice the wire

If you look behind the passenger turret you will see a loom running through the fire wall through a rubber grommet, take a wire through here, under the scuttle panel and thread it between the top of the wing and body, the wire will then be at the back of the door shut. You will see a plastic blanking grommet in the door shut above where the door loom attaches, poke the wire through here and feed it into the car. You will need to remove the kick panels to get at the wire once its in the car. Can be fiddely. I assume its amp wiring?

The wire will end up tucked under the wing in the panel gap, so it will not be seen, when i first heard i though fuck there must be a better way, but this is the easiest by far, drilling the bulkhead is risky, too much on the cabin side that you could drill through.
