Hey all i should be soon buyin a diesel mk4 escort van and converting it to an rs turbo engine, now this may well have a very simple answer but is there issues with emissions come mot time if it hasnt been registered as a petrol?? many thanks

 

u inform the dvla.
my p100 has a a differant engine. for the MOT they asked what year is the engine and what car it came from etc and looked up the specs for that.
