The 3 LED version is more than enough, fook me I have a 6 led one in the interior light, had to turn it around to dim it a bit, was drowning out the light from the sun

Yeah i've got one in the front and one in the rear too,

http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/automotive-bulbs-c-101.html
Front one was a 6 led festoon bulb from here (3rd row down), you need to know the size first, then click white at the top and choose one of the cool white ones. They are FUCKING BRIGHT though, maybe i should have gone for the 3 led one!
The front and the rear bulbs in my car are different lengths though for some reason, i bought 2 shorter ones thinking they would be the same but the rear takes a longer one!

So could be an idea to whip them out and measure what you've got in there first!

Those led's are ok, and do a good job, but if wanted there are massively brighter ones.
The ones I use, use 12 of the same led's as in the 3 and 6 version, they are not remotely anything like the output of a 3 watt led and don't consume anywhere near as much, or anything near as much as a true 3Watt led(as I've measured them).
If anyone else finds the output of the glovebox light, boot light, or interior lights of the sapphy/others poor, then the 12 led version which is mounted on a round disc with sticky pad is ace, these light up the OUTSIDE of the car as well through the windows, and the floor when the door is opened, you can easily see the light in the glovebox in the brightest daylight from the drivers seat.
The ones I bought were from dealextreme.com item number 15648 priced at Ł4.35p delivered to your door.
I have 1 in the rear and 2 in the front, although 1 in the front is plenty enough on it's own to light the whole car including the rear, you cannot tell whether the std light is on or not, as it doesn't contribute anything worth having.
I mounted the rear one on the light and the 2 fronts either side of the sunroof handle.
I can EASILY read the smallest print with the light, and they do actually dazzle.
The piccies are good, they are good led's as most so called white ones are way too blue, which personally I hate, as this also makes them less good for lighting.
