As the title really...I have a 2008 focus and the trip meter display stays lit for ages after the cars turned off and locked can the time its on be adjusted?? im sure it used to go off fairly quickly

Ive been in the house for half an hour and its still on do you know if i can adjust the time its on?

They all do this, it should just go off after a little while. No you cant adjust it either.

 

Yup, mine in my 2006 st stays on for ages too!!

 

My tranny connect trip metre stays on for around 40 minutes after engine is turned off, did think there was something wrong but got used to it now, lol

Mine goes off after an hour lol so ok i think?

I found that when the ignition is off and the keys are not in if i press and hold in the radio power button the display says 1 hour does anyone know if this relates to the time that the display stays lit as mine deffo goes off after an hour every time

 

1 hour relates to the time that the Radio will stay on with the ignition off. After this time it turns off.
